Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 August 2026
We built Abundhunt CRM for IT businesses that handle sensitive customer and field data. This policy explains — in plain language — what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It follows common practices used by modern SaaS platforms while reflecting Abundhunt’s CRM, telephony, WhatsApp, and field-service features.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Abundhunt ("Abundhunt", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit https://abundhunt.com, request a demo, or use Abundhunt CRM.
Contact for privacy questions: legal@abundhunt.com.
2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account & business data: name, email, phone, company name, role, billing details, and tenant configuration.
- Customer CRM data you upload: leads, contacts, quotations, tickets, assets, AMC records, call logs, WhatsApp messages, and related files (as controlled by your organisation).
- Usage data: feature usage, device/browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and diagnostic logs needed to secure and improve the service.
- Location data (field service): technician check-in/check-out and map location only during active jobs or defined working hours — not continuous 24/7 tracking by default.
- Communications: emails, demo requests, and support conversations with us.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Abundhunt CRM
- Authenticate users, enforce RBAC, and maintain audit logs
- Process quotations, tickets, telephony/WhatsApp integrations you enable
- Send service notices, security alerts, and product updates
- Respond to demos, support requests, and contractual obligations
- Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use customer CRM content to train public AI models.
4. Our role vs your role
For marketing site visitors and our own customer contacts, we act as a data controller.
For CRM data you store about your end customers (leads, tickets, call recordings references, etc.), you are the controller and Abundhunt acts as a processor — processing that data only on your instructions to provide the service.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process your end-customer data (for example consent, contract, or legitimate interest under applicable law).
6. Retention & security
We retain information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the service, or as required by law and legitimate business needs (for example audit, dispute resolution, and security).
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — including tenant-level isolation, role-based access control, encryption in transit, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and manage user access carefully.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal information, and to object to certain processing. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.
To exercise rights related to your Abundhunt account, contact legal@abundhunt.com. If you are an end customer of an Abundhunt subscriber, please contact that organisation first — they control your CRM record.
9. Children
Abundhunt CRM is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
